Celebrate the Māori New Year with a buffet dining experience inspired by the nine stars of the Matariki constellation.
Matariki marks the rising of a star cluster that has guided New Zealanders for generations — a time to remember those we have lost, to give thanks for the present, and to celebrate what lies ahead.
This July, Eight honours that spirit with a buffet experience inspired by the nine stars of the Matariki constellation. Each station has been thoughtfully curated to reflect what its star watches over — the land and its harvest, the sea and its bounty, the warmth of fire, and the nourishment that comes from gathering together.
More than a meal, this is a moment. A chance to slow down, connect with the people around you, and mark the Māori New Year in the most delicious way we know how.
