Qibao means seven treasures and was built in Northern Song, growing into a prosperous business centre during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Chen Shan Botanical Garden spans more than 200 hectares, with over 9,000 species displayed across three spectacular glasshouses and 26 themed areas. It is also known for its large and growing education program for children and teenagers, and holds frequent flower shows throughout the year.
