QIBAO ANCIENT WATER TOWN
Qibao means seven treasures and was built in Northern Song, growing into a prosperous business centre during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Besides attractions like the Qibao Temple and the Shadow Play Museum, you will also find an interesting range of local snacks such as glutinous rice balls, salt-baked quail eggs and sugar-coated haws.
SHANGHAI ZOO
Covering a vast 740,000 square metres, Shanghai Zoo houses over 6,000 animals, including more than 600 rare species. Discover native animals like giant pandas, golden monkeys and Manchurian tigers, as well as animals from all over the world like giraffes, kangaroos, penguins, hippopotamuses, sea lions, ostriches and cougars.

ZHUJIAJIAO ANCIENT WATER TOWN
Formed 1,700 years ago, Zhujiajiao is known as the Venice of Shanghai. The old town is connected by 36 bridges in different shapes and styles and boasts ancient streets, gardens and buildings built in the Ming and Qing dynasties, the most famous of which is the Kezhi Garden.
CHEN SHAN BOTANICAL GARDEN
Chen Shan Botanical Garden spans more than 200 hectares, with over 9,000 species displayed across three spectacular glasshouses and 26 themed areas. It is also known for its large and growing education program for children and teenagers, and holds frequent flower shows throughout the year.
