Our first green program, launched in 2008, gives guests the option to choose a reuse option for bed linens and towels, promoting sustainability in hotel operations.

Through these meetings, Cordis, Hong Kong finds sustainable solutions for events and operations to minimise negative impacts on the environment.

Cordis, Hong Kong collects and cleans oyster shells, which are then transported to oyster reef restoration sites to benefit marine life and water quality. We also volunteer to do restoration work at TNC's mudflats to improve shoreline stability. To date, we have recycled over 18 tonnes of oyster shells and contributed over 1 ton each quarter since November 2020. 

We have replaced all plastic water bottles with in-house bottles, reducing plastic waste.

Our kids' ambassadors, inspired by the endangered Red Pandas, are a part of our commitment to supporting conservation efforts. In partnership with the Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, we offer our guests the opportunity to contribute to the conservation of Red Pandas by purchasing Cody & Coco plush toys. These purchases raise awareness and donations for their cause, helping to make a positive impact on the environment and promote a more sustainable future.

This program features environmentally friendly amenities made from bamboo and limited plastics.

Our event planning services aim to offset environmental impacts at our hotel venues. We offer electronic signage, whiteboards, reusable linens, dining ware, locally sourced produce, and well-being services that are both productive and sustainable for guests and the planet.
