Pet Policy

With the exception of guide dogs, pets of any kind are not allowed inside the hotel premises.

Check-in/Check-out Policy

Cordis, Auckland hotel’s standard check-in time is 15:00 and check-out is at 11:00.

Credit Card Fee

Should you be settling your account with a Credit Card or an offshore Visa Debit Card or MasterCard Debit Card, please note that a credit card surcharge of 2.5% will apply on top of the total amount due. Payments by cash or EFTPOS do not attract a fee.

Non-Smoking Policy

Cordis, Auckland is a non-smoking hotel and has a ‘no smoking' policy in all rooms. A cleaning fee of one night’s room charge will be payable for smoking in your room. Smoking is permitted outdoors and there is an undercover guest smoking area outside of the City Road entrance.

Payment and Pre-authorisation Policy

Should you be settling with a credit card, a pre-authorisation (hold) on your credit card is required for the amount of the Room Rate (if not prepaid/settled by 3rd party) plus $100 for a one night stay or $200 for a multiple night stay, to allow for any incidental spend. If your accommodation has been prepaid or settled by a 3rd party, we would require $100 for one night or $200 for multiple nights. Credit Cards also attract a 2.5% surcharge on these amounts.

Should you not carry a credit card, or wish to settle with cash, your identification is required along with the aforementioned amounts, to be paid on arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the day of arrival. Should a cancellation be received less than 24 hours prior to the day of arrival, or in the case of a no-show, a one night charge at the agreed accommodation room rate will be levied.

Cancellations must be made in writing and faxed to our Reservations Department on 64 (9) 302 9991 or emailed to cdakl.resv@cordishotels.com prior to 16.00 local time.
